London Physiotherapist and business owner, Steve Hines, has just opened his latest business venture, Wandsworth Aesthetics. After undergoing two years of post graduate training in Aesthetic Medicine at Queen Mary University, Hines is now certified to deliver a number of cosmetic procedures.

Hines states, “Many of our regular customers enquired if we offered cosmetic services when they came in for their therapy or massage treatments so we looked at how we could offer these services. I decided to upskill and spent the last two years studying to get my license in medical aesthetics so we can now offer all the services that were requested previously. We are qualified to offer botox injections, cosmetic acupuncture, microneedling and non surgical facelifts along with other beauty services such as facials and various beauty products.”

Hines studied Sports Science at Greenwich University before qualifying as a physiotherapist at St George’s Hospital in London. He completed a Level 7 Diploma in Aesthetic Medicine at Queen Mary University in London last year. When asked about his future aims for the business he continues, “In the future I would like to establish a thriving business that offers all forms of rehabilitation and medical aesthetics. I envisage a multidisciplinary approach where all of our patients’ needs can be addressed in one place.”

Based in the heart of Wandsworth Town, Wandsworth Aesthetics, offers a range of cosmetic and medical beauty services to complement the rehabilitation and massage products they already provide.

Cosmetic surgery is becoming more commonplace particularly with the popularity of TV shows such as Love Island and Baywatch where many of the participants talk openly about their surgeries. Hines goes on to say, “With cosmetic procedures becoming more mainstream we wanted to offer easier access to some of these procedures. We see huge demand for it from our regular customers and we’re confident that this demand will only grow in the future.”

As a society, people are becoming more and more preoccupied with their looks and businesses like Wandsworth Aesthetics aim to capitalise on this growing trend over the next few years. It remains to be seen if their expectations will be met.
