Porcelain veneers are known to last 20 years or longer with proper care, and due to their high durability, can often prevent damage such as chips, cracks, and breaks.

To create a new set of porcelain veneers, the Anacapa Dental team will first build a digital recreation of the client’s mouth using touchless scanners, and then use this 3D guide to craft covers for each affected tooth. The veneers will be designed to match the original color, texture, and size of the client’s existing teeth, or to provide brighter, larger smiles, on request.

Although porcelain is the most commonly used material due to its longevity, it does offer one drawback, in that it requires the removal of a certain amount of the original teeth underneath.
