BCBGMAXAZRIA was only the second show to hit the runway at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week commenced at Lincoln Center Thursday, and backstage Bumble and Bumble’s hair team and Sephora makeup artists spent the morning rushing to prepare the models for their Fall/Winter 2013 looks.

“The look is effortlessly cool,” said makeup artist Val Garland. “It’s a little bit Kate Moss inspired.”

Bronzer was utilized to give the Istanbul-inspired looks an outdoorsy feel, and repressed smoky eyes were finished with chocolate brown Sephora pencil and matching Dior mascara.

Lips were swiped with a chubby stick for moisture that coordinated each model’s skin tone.

“Blue Bloods” actress Sami Gayle mingled backstage in a form-fitting navy blue and black BCBGMAXAZRIA dress. In spite of the fact that her makeup and pixie cut was superbly done, Gayle said she doesn’t care to invest a ton of time getting preparing.

“My biggest thing is I want to be able to do my makeup in five minutes,” she said. “When I do my own makeup, it’s a two-second deal.”
