QazExpoCongress signs memorandum on the opening of a representative office of Messe Frankfurt in Kazakhstan

During a working meeting with the management of Kazakhstan’s national company QazExpoCongress, President and CEO Wolfgang Marzin, along with Managing Director of Messe Frankfurt Stefan Burma, signed a memorandum of cooperation. This agreement is set to broaden the scope of the exhibition industry in Kazakhstan. Both parties have agreed on the establishment of a Messe Frankfurt representative office within the premises of the EXPO business center in Astana.

This collaboration in the realm of exhibition activities opens up avenues for implementing joint economic and social projects. The infrastructure of the business center is well-equipped to host a variety of congress and exhibition events. These include forums, conferences, round tables, business meetings, fairs, presentations, and more, across multiple levels and formats. QazExpoCongress is supported by facilities such as the Congress Center and the EXPO International Exhibition Center to enable these activities.

“Unique opportunities have been established within the EXPO business center for realizing innovative ideas and executing the most ambitious projects. Presently, this area of business, intellectual, and creative activity significantly contributes to the advancement of the economy, science, education, culture, and new technologies. Collaborative initiatives and leveraging Messe Frankfurt’s expertise will provide fresh momentum for organizing large-scale international events in Kazakhstan,” stated Allen Chaizhunusov, Chairman of the Management Board of QazExpoCongress.

Additionally, the EXPO IEC is certified by the World Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI), hosting both national and international exhibitions.
