Curative Mushrooms today reflected on its release of version 3 of their Shroom Bomb grow bag, which was in development for 2.5 years. The main aim was always to create a grow bag that would allow a complete novice the ability to grow their own ‘Happy Mushrooms’ from spores at home on their very 1st try without needing any expensive equipement or complicated instructions… and by defying convention, this new version of the ‘Happy Mushrooms’ for sad people grow bag did so, with a difference.

Oliver, CEO at Curative Mushrooms, says: “We wanted to try something new with version 3 of the Shroom Bomb grow bag. Anyone familiar with the ‘growing mushrooms at home’ market will probably have noticed how most companies tend to put the oats on the bottom of the their All-In-One grow bags. However we have found through testing that by doing it that way can cause the grow bag to ‘stall out’. Imagine how disappointing it would be to inject a grow bag, get super excited when you start to see it growing and then it suddenly stops and you don’t know why. We noticed this was a problem when we were trying to help our customers overcome bags that suddenly stopped growing. Mushrooms need oxygen to grow and can stall out if the oats are at the bottom of the bag and suffocated by the CVG (Coco Coir, Vermiculite, Gypsum) recipe at the top .”

So as a welcomed breath of fresh air, they launched version 3 of their grow bags with the oats on the top and their beginner growers instantly went from an 85% success rate up to a 97% success rate. Curative Mushrooms chose to make this move because they are always striving to make their grow bags better with a goal of having 100% success rate for everyone on their very 1st try.
