New Book Offers Insight into the Life of a Minister: “This Side of the Pulpit” by Steve Pinnell

Renowned retired Elder in the United Methodist Church, Steve Pinnell, is set to release his insightful new book, “This Side of the Pulpit.” With nearly five decades of experience serving in various congregations and as a District Superintendent, Pinnell brings a wealth of knowledge and firsthand experience to his exploration of the multifaceted life of a minister.

In this compelling work, Pinnell delves into the often-overlooked aspects of the ministerial journey, offering a candid examination of the challenges and rewards that come with answering the call to serve. Steve Pinnell is a retired Elder in the United Methodist Church, with nearly fifty years of experience in ministry. Alongside his wife Sandy, Pinnell has served fourteen churches and provided leadership as the District Superintendent of the Mark Twain District of the Missouri Annual Conference. Together, they bring a wealth of firsthand experience and insight into the dynamics of clergy-lay relationships.
