Both Damon & David developed their passion and love for combat fighting at a young age. For the most part they grew up in the boxing gym. Boxing is in the Feldman brothers’ DNA.  Their father, former professional boxer (20-3) & world-famous trainer (training a total of 7 world champions) and fight promoter, Marty Feldman honed his sons’ passion and skill sets at a young age, training them both at the family-owned Feldman Fitness Center in Springfield, Delaware County.

Even with their father’s success as trainer and promoter the brothers weren’t looking to get into the business of boxing. The brothers loved to brawl. At the onset of their careers, both brothers were professional boxers & contenders with their sights set on winning championship belts and hearing the cheers and admiration of arenas full of fight fans. Damon Feldman (9-0) retired undefeated after an unfortunate neck injury he suffered outside of the ring in 1994. David Feldman(4-1-0) also retired early.

Now a retired fighter fresh off of a career ending injury, a determined Damon Feldman looked to stay in the sport he was raised in & loves. Naturally Damon had to throw his hat in the ring & take a jab at fight promotion. Promoting various combat events including tough-man competitions, boxing matches, & wrestling matches. In 2002 Damon created & founded Celebrity Boxing and sold it to Dick Clark Promotions on the FOX Network for a 2 fight deal to introduce his new concept to the nation. At that point Damon knew it was time to take his new platform & “16 Minute Man” concept on the road with various celebrities from the likes of Danny Bonaduci, Rodney King, Tonya Harding, & Tila Tequila being some of the main events. In the early years pretty much any name in a tabloid fought for Feldman.

Through time, Damon has developed Official Celebrity Boxing into a dazzling entertaining star studded affair with everyone from Floyd Mayweather Jr, Dame Dash, Jamie Fox, Tiffanie Haddish, Da Brat, 50 cent, Lamar Odom, Roy Jones Jr, Justina Valentine, & many more having involvement in Official Celebrity Boxing Events in one way or another. Damon also has seen the opportunity to use his platform to influence a new generation of combat sports and music fans. By providing the up and coming combat fighters & musicians to not only be seen and heard by millions, but also to be seen & heard by some of the biggest names & taste makers in sports & entertainment.

All though David Feldman is passionate about combat fighting and boxing is literally in his blood, he did not stick to boxing his entire life. He briefly owned and operated a few bars but returned to combat sports in 2006. During this time in his life he promoted combat sporting events throughout the country. In 2010 after meeting & talking with Bobby Gunn, the brain child of David’s which we now know as BKFC Fight Championships started to form & grow. By 2012 David was fully engulfed and traveling uncharted territories as he attempted to legitimize bare knuckle boxing. However, it wasn’t easy. David faced discouragement from various people involved in combat sports. More importantly he even faced rejection from state athletic commissions but due to his persistence and vision he eventually found success in Wyoming. In 2018, the state hosted the first BKFC fight in America, making history and sending a new wave of excitement through the sports & entertainment world. With no other similar sport or event, BKFC is set to take its exciting, but at times brutal product to a new and excited fanbase.

On Friday, Feb. 2 at the sold-out Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, FL during Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship 57, a proud Damon Feldman presented his brother David Feldman the Official Celebrity Boxing Honorary Belt; commemorating the day David officially made Bare Knuckle the biggest combat sport in the world.
