WINNIPEG, MB: East Kildonan Dental Group, a premier Winnipeg dental clinic located at 807 Henderson Highway, is very pleased to be welcoming new associate Dr. Synjyn Biluan to its team. Dr. Biluan, a native Winnipegger and graduate of the University of Manitoba’s Faculty of Dentistry, is committed to expanding his dental skills and knowledge as well as building on his skill set to appropriately provide for his patients.
EK Dental Group has been an integral part of the East Kildonan Community for close to 75 years. Established in 1949, it’s a community practice that foregrounds a welcoming atmosphere and is known for treating its patients like family. In addition to general dentistry and dental cleanings, the clinic’s dental services include fillings, bridges, crowns, tooth extractions, dental implants, Invisalign, dentures, oral surgery, root canals, teeth whitening, veneers, cosmetic procedures, and more. Dr. Biluan is EK Dental’s fourth associate dentist.
Dr. Synjyn Biluan grew up in Winnipeg’s Garden City area and completed his DMD at the University of Manitoba’s Faculty of Dentistry in 2022. Subsequently, he decided to continue his education, pursuing an Advanced Education in General Dentistry and completed the certificate program at the University of Connecticut in 2023. At the University of Connecticut, Dr. Biluan practiced all areas of dentistry including implant surgeries, surgical extractions, and aesthetic dentistry. He is also a clinical instructor at the University of Manitoba in the Restorative Department.
Dr. Biluan believes that one of the most important aspects of dentistry is building a good rapport with his patients. “For me, it’s a priority to ensure that my patients are comfortable in the chair and with their oral health after any appointment,” he said, adding that he also aims to alleviate any anxiety that being in the dental chair may cause. Outside of his professional work, Dr. Biluan enjoys boxing, exercise, travelling, Winnipeg’s amazing restaurants, and spending time with his friends and family.
